Pie in the Sky Adventures #91
Thanks for checking us out. Hope your all doing well. We are. Started this past weekend with a snack at El Coral in Punta Mita. Here’s what it takes for captain and crew to bring a big panga in to the shore to load 15 or 20 people, then thru the surf and out to the Islands. This on fairly calm day.
The Anchorage, just before the private gates of the development of ‘Punta Mita’, with a line of restaurants on the water, is a great way we celebrate living on this magnificent Bay by having breakfast there on the weekend. We usually choose La Cabana but ‘El Coral’ is where tourists fill these pangas and explore the ‘Tres Marietta” islands at the mouth of the bay and we were ready for the show. Both of these restaurants are highly recommended for those who like to be reminded why they choose this area to be close to nature. Seeing pelicans and terns dive for bait so close to where your enjoying a meal is unique and very entertaining. The view of the Bandaras Bay from this prospective shows off ‘the largest bay in Mexico’ in it’s best light.
While we sometimes miss sailing over to Yelapa from La Cruz in our old gaffer, the “Galatea”
, we do need that salt water hit and now walk along our marina’s malecon. Weekdays it’s almost empty but on Sundays it’s absolutely over flowing with people looking for something that they can’t do without, at the La Cruz Market. It’s both a walk discovering again what our humanity looks like along with the much needed salt hit. I can’t think of any other ‘Market’ venue as beautiful as this gathering,
With all the turmoil being experienced ‘up north’ we foresee a dramatic increase in people visiting with the purpose being to scout out the possibility of moving here full time. By the looks of the high rises going up here, it seems that knowledgeable developers feel the same and can’t put them up soon enough. Here’s a photo taken from our boat, pre marina and pre development
La Cruz, early 1990, it goes fast! When we could see what was certainly about to happen and we told our fishermen friends here to “ hold on it’s coming” they laughed and said
”nothing changes in La Cruz”. ‘Vamos a Ver’
April fools - - An anniversary for the starting of our last food business, ‘Yummies’, and to the day we re arrived in La Cruz 10 years ago. There are times where I think how appropriate in both cases. However both anniversaries have been celebrated with smiles and gratitude. We might find some place in the world that we’ve missed in our search that would be a fine ‘last spot’, but I doubt it. The only ingredient missing is ‘the next means of support’ business. The last one took all of our energy for too little profit. We think we have the perfect solution; One that takes advantage of Teri’s professional experience along with her natural inclination and abilities to heal and help people, ie: over 45 years as an acupuncturist. Now with the aid of the ‘Qest4 Bioresonance machine’, we can treat people without the use of needles and have the results of a non intrusive ‘scan’ to guide us to using a healing frequency to help the body heal itself. For those of you who would like to know more about Bioresonance this site should answer any questions you might have: Qest4.com . in addition this site is very clear:
